With help from WeR1, Sabah-based Jawala Inc. (SGX: IJ7.SI) became Malaysia’s first sustainable forestry resources company to list on the Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange. Jawala, which commenced trading on 1 June 2018, described its IPO as an exciting  opportunity for investors to participate in the forestry business.

On 23 November 2017, Grand Banks Yachts Limited hosted shareholders at its manufacturing facility in Pasir Gudang for a behind-the-scenes look at its 380,000-square feet redeveloped yard.

Following a major revamp, the yard and now features new automation, streamlined operations, a sheltered test pool and more usable covered space. The enhancements are expected to lift Group-wide utilisation rates, expand production capacity and shorten the production cycle.

Discovering Value in Small Caps, held on 5th October 2016 at the SGX Auditorium, was an investment seminar jointly presented by WeR1 Consultants and SGX.

Despite their good growth potential, many Singapore-listed small-cap companies are not on the radar of investors, research analysts and the financial media. The seminar sought to help investors discover some of these gems and offered small-cap companies tips on how they can better promote themselves to the investment community.

Top executives of six listed companies – all retained clients of WeR1 – outlined their business and investment merits before an audience of more than 100 fund managers, wealth managers, high net worth investors, analysts and corporate leaders.
